The Department of Mathematics in the College of Science at the University of Texas Arlington (UTA) invites applications for non-tenure-track (NTT) faculty positions beginning the Fall 2024 Semester. The NTT faculty position is a full-time position at the rank of Lecturer for MS or MA candidates and Assistant Professor of Instruction rank for Ph.D. or Ed.D. candidates. Teaching excellence is expected for the position. Salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.

The responsibilities of the full-time NTT faculty will include teaching undergraduate mathematics service courses and working closely with the Learning Resource Center in the Department of Mathematics. The minimum qualifications for NTT faculty are an earned MS or MA in mathematics, mathematics education, or statistics. The position will be given to those with significant experience in or a strong commitment to undergraduate mathematics teaching, student engagement, and mentoring.

M.S. or M.A. in mathematics, mathematics education, or statistics, with at least 18 credit hours of mathematics graduate coursework.

Ph.D. or Ed.D. in mathematics, mathematical education, or statistics. Experience teaching entry-level mathematics courses
