University of Utah, Department of Mathematics
Tenure-Track or Tenured Position in Mathematical Biology (2024-2025)
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Utah invites applications for a full-time tenure-track or tenured position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor in mathematical biology.
Ideal candidate would have demonstrated excellence in mechanistic modeling of biological systems and would fit with and complement our existing research strengths. A successful candidate is also expected to be an effective educator. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field.
Applications must include: (1) a cover letter; (2) a curriculum vitae; (3) a list of publications; (4) a statement of research interests and plans; (5) a teaching statement; and (6) four or more letters of recommendation, at least one of which must address the candidate’s teaching record.
